This file was contributed by: Barbara Walker Winge Barbarawinge@yahoo.com ==================================================================== Know all men by these presents that I Thomas Going of the State of Georgia & County of Oglethrope Physician divise goods cause of considerations me thereunto moving; have this day constitued ordained & appointed, & by these presents do constitute - ordain & appoint John Gresham junior my lawful attorney forever, & in my stead, to do transact & perform all things - Whatsoever Touching the management of my affairs in Georgia Not Extending the management of my estate either real or personals; But for me & in my Stead to ask demand & receive by suit or otherwise, all debts dues or demands, whatsoever owing or to become due or owing to me, whether the same may consist of open accounts, notes, Speciatities, Judgements, in any other liquids [?], tea or unliquidate demands, of any kinds or discription - whatsoever, & I hereby authorize the said John Gresham to settle any Settlements with my debtors or creditors, & to give or receive any receipts or requittances that he may see fit, which shall be of equal forece effect & satisfy as if the same have been, have given or received by my self in proper person.
