Indenture bet Henry Hartsfield & Cornelius Davis 03 Dec 1831 Oglethorpe Co, GA

This indenture entered into made and confered this third day of December
Eighteen hundred and thirty one between Henry Hartsfield and Hendon Olive of
teh one part and Cornelius Davis and Washington Hartsfiled of the other part
all of the County and State aforesaid  Witnesseth that the said Hartsfield and
Olive for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to them in hand paid
at and before the signing and sealing of the presents these presentss the
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged hath bargained granted leased and
released unto the said Cornelius Davis and Washington Hartsfield a certain
piece of land lines as follows beginning at the upper part of teh falls
cornering on a pine running squar off to a hickory corner thence squar down
the river to a white oak corner thence square to the river to a white oack
corner the river making the other line the said land for the purpose of having
holding and useing for erecting and working a factory for carding fulling<?>
dressing dying &c. and what other purposes (except a grist mill and saw mill)
the said Cornelius Davis and Washington Hartsfield may think proper for and
during twenty years then the said land to revert back (except the factory
house and machinery) and become the property of us the said Hartsfield and
Olive our heirs or assigns and the said Hartsfield and Olive for themselves
their heirs and assigns will warramt and defend the right of occupancy air<?>
and useing said land and premises unto the said Cornelius Davis and Washington
Hartsfield their heirs and assigns for and during the full term herein before
stated free from the claim of all other persons in Testimony whereof we the
said Hartsfield and Olive have hereunto set our hands and seales
