Indenture bet Wm Hartsfield & Lewis Dupore 28 Nov 1834 Oglethorpe Co, GA

This indenture made twenty eighth day of Nov In the year of our Lord One
thousand Eight hundred and thirty four Witnesseth that William Hartsfield of
the one part and Lewis S<?> Dupore<?> of the other both of the County and
State afforesaid Witnesseth that the said Wm. Hartsfield for and in
consideration fo the sum of Four Hundred & seventy Dollars to him in hand paid
at and before the sealing & delivering of these presents the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold & conveyed and do by these
presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Lewis G? Dupree his hiers
& assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the
County aforesaid on the Waters of Grove Creek & Little beaver Dam Creek
Containing two Hundred & fifty Acres More or less beginning at a dead pine
Stump thence Running North 88-1/2 East 26 Chains no<?> links thence along the
dividing line between Vernon and Meriweather to a chesnut x N 27-50 W to a
Stake S 46 W 1-50 thence N54W 62-00 to a Post Oak x thence S 45 W = 4-25 to a
Hickoryx thence N 50 W 7.00 to a pine x on Grove Creek thence doen the Creek
to the Mouth of the Spring branch thence up the said branch to the fork thence
up the left hand prong to the head thence a strait line to the beginning
corner to have and to hold said tract or parcel of land unto him the said
Lewis J? Dupree his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the
rights members and apperenances thereof to the same in any manner balonging to
his and their own proper use and benefit & behoof forever in fee simple and
teh said Wm. Hartsfield for him his heirs executors and Administrators the
said bargained premises unto the said Lewis Y? Dupree his heirs and assigns
will warrant and defend and forever defend the right and title thereof against
themselves and agains the claim of all other persons.
In witness whereof the said Wm Hartsfield hath hereunto set his hand and seal
the day and date above written.
