Indenture bet Wm Hartsfield & John Floyd 25 Dec 1835 Oglethorpe Co, GA

This indenture made this twenty fifth day of Dec. In the year of our Lord one
thousan Eight Hundred and thirty five between Wm. Hartsfield of Harris County
& State aforesaid of teh one part and John Floyd of the County of Oglethorpe &
state aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said William Hartsfiel
for and in consideration of the sum of nin hundred & seventy five dollars to
him in hand paid by the said John Floyd the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged hat granted bargained and sold and by these present doth grant
bargain and sell unto the said John Floyd his hiers and assigns all that tract
or parcel of land situate being and lying in the County of Oglethorpe on the
south side of big Clouds Creek containing three hundred Acres more or less And
adjoining lands of Francis OKelley Richard Derecly<?> and others Together all
and singular ther rights members and apperenancies thereunto belonging or in
any wise appertaining To have and to hold the same unto the said John Floyd
his heirs and assigns forever and the said William Hartsfield doth by these
present Warrant and Defend the right and Title of said Tract of Land To the
said John Floyd and to his Heirs assigns forever from the claim or claims of
him the sais William Hartsfield and his and the claim or claims of all and
every other person or persons whatsoever.  In Witness whereof the said Wm.
Hartsfield hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and date above written.
