Indenture bet Isaiah Vines & Andrew Hartsfield 29 Jan 1818 Oglethorpe Co, GA

This Indenture made this 29th day of January in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred & eighteen between Isaiah Vines of the County of
Oglethorpe in the State of Georgia of the one part & Andrew Hartsfield of the
same place of the other part, Witnesseth, that the said Isaiah Vines for & in
consideration of fourteen hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said
Andrew Hartsfield the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hat granted
bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the
said Andrew Hartsfield a certain tract or parcel of land containing one
hundred & forty acres, more or less lying on the little Beaverdam Creek in the
County aforesaid bounded Northwardly by Jones land, Westerwardly by Jones &
Embry land, Southwardly by Luckie<?> & Roseberrys land & Eastwardly by
Roseberry & Pips<?> land, Together with all & singular the rights members &
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to the said
Andrew Hartsfield & to his heirs & assigns forever & the said Isaiah Vines for
himiself and his heirs doth covenant & agree with the said Andrew Hartsfield
and his heirs to warrant & forever defend the said tract of land & premises to
him the said Andrew Hartsfield & to his heirs & assigns against him the said
Isaiah Vines & his heirs & against the right title or claim of all & every
other person or persons whatsoever.  In Testimony whereof the said Isaiah
Vines hath hereunto set his hand & seal the day & year above written
