Indenture bet Henry Hartsfield & Enoch Embry 10 Dec 1803 Oglethorpe Co, GA

This Indenture made this tenth day of December in the year of our Lord One
thousand eight hundred and three Between Henry Hartrsfield of the County of
Oglethorpe in the State of Georgia of the one part and Enoch Embry of the same
place of the other part Witnesseth that the said Henry Hartsfield for and in
consideration of three hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Enoch
Embry the receipt whereof the said Hartsfield doth hereby acknowledge he the
said Henry Hartsfield hath granted bargained sold and confirmed and by these
presents Doth grant bargain sell and confirm unto the said enoch Embry and to
his heirs and assigns forever one certain tract or parcel of Land situate
lying and being on the Little Beaverdam Creek in the County aforesaid
Containing two hundred acres.  Begining at Corner Red Oak thence S 30 W sixty
four<?> chs. corner Post Oack thence N 60 W thirty three chs twenty five links
to corner hickory thence s 30 W Eleven chs fifty links to corner post oak
thence N 70 W thiry one Chs fifty links to Corner Post Oak thenc N 46 E foury
three chs. to Corner Stake thence S 69 E fifty chs fifty links to Begining To
have and to hold the said tract of Land and premises above mentioned with the
appurtenances unto the said Enoch Embry and his heirs and assigns forever And
the Said Henry Hartsfield fo himself and his heirs doth further covenant and
grant to and with the said Enoch Embry that he the Said Henry Hartsfield and
his heirs the said tract of land and premises above mentioned with the
appertenances unto the said Enoch Embry his heirs and assigns against him the
said Henry Hartsfield and his heirs and against the claim or claims of all and
every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and ferever
defend by these presents.  In Witness whereof the said Henry Hartsfield hath
hereunto Set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first above
written.
