Know you that I the said Andrew McELROY of the County of Oglethorpe and state of Georgia, for in consideration of the love good will and affection which I have and do bear towards my son-in-law Adam SIMMONS. This their _____ and administrator, all and singular ___ Negro girl named Mary between six and seven years old, now being in my possession in the County aforesaid, of which before the sealing of their presents. I have delivered him the said Adam SIMMONS, an inventory signed with my own hand and bearing even date to have and to hold the said Negro girl named Mary to him the said Adam SIMMONS this their executor an administrator from henceforth as the property absolutely without any manor of condition.
