     Abstract page 258, Asa B. SIMMONS of Oglethorpe Co., sold to
     Banford E. HITCHOCK of Madison Co., GA for $200.00 land to wit: on
     waters of Beaverdam Creek adjoining the lands of Abel M. BARNETT &
     Others, bounded as follows beginning at a pine corner fence S 47
     degrees E 44 chains to a Black oak fence N 43 degrees E 14 Chains
     to White oak fence, N 47 degrees W 44 chains to a pine fence S 43
     degrees W 14 chains to beginning, containing 62 acres more or less.
     7 May 1839.
