W. PATMAN, of Oglethorpe County, was seriously hurt by being thrown from the seat of his buggy, and kicked by his Horse breaking his lower jaw bone in three places, and inflicting other severe bruises upon his person. The accident occurred about two miles from his residence, and he succeeded in stopping the horse, after running about three-fourths of a mile when he returned home without assistance, and after getting in the house he fainted, being unable to talk from the condition of his mouth. On Monday last, he had so far recovered as to be able to walk about in the house, though suffering intensely most of the time. He is hopeful of soon being able to resume his ministerial labors.
