Sadie Davison Christy, 94, of Crawford, died Saturday, October 7, 2006, at 
Quiet Oaks Nursing Home.

Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late John Dillard and 
Dora King Davison. She was a member of Crawford Pentecostal Holiness Church. 
Mrs. Christy was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Christy; and a 
son, Jerry D. Christy.

Survivors include a son, Edgar D. Christy, Lexington; sisters, Mamie Pledger, 
Arnoldsville, Jessie Coile, Comer; grandchildren, William Tim Christy, Jerry 
D. Christy Jr., Donna Cofer; great-grandchildren, Reilly Christy and Blake 
Christy.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 9, at Crawford Pentecostal Holiness 
Church with the Revs. B.G. Miller and Larry Davison officiating. Burial was at 
Crawford Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons and nephews.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
