V. Collier, in the county of Oglethorpe, Ga. on the 10th of July, 877, Mr. Hardaway Collier, in the 63rd, year of his age. Mr. H. had for many years lived a consistent and orderly member of the Methodist E. Church. Adversity and misfortune had been his lot, but it is confidently hoped by his friends, that for "him to die was gain"- that be exchanged the troubles and conflicts of a fleeting and transitory life, for the felicities of the redeemed in heaven. J. V. C. Additional Comments: The date of death should read: 10th of July, 1870. Hardaway Collier was named in Culthbert Collier's will (recorded in Monroe county, Ga.) as being a nephew and one of the Executors; will recorded 7th day of July, 1845. John Vines Collier and Hardaway Collier were the grandsons of Vines Collier, who died in Oglethorpe county, Ga.
