Crawford – The relatives and friends of Mrs. Ethel Crawford who entered
into her final rest June 12th, are invited to attend her funeral at 3
o’clock p.m. today from the New Zion M.E.Z. church at Crawford, Ga.  She is 
survived by the following relatives; three sisters, Mrs. Ophelia
Collins and Mrs. Annie Lee Jones of Atlanta; and Mrs. Mamie Williams of
Chattanooga, Tenn., Mrs. Daisey Cooper of Chattanooga, Tenn., Mr. and Mrs. 
George Huff and Mr. and Mrs. Murt Chappel of Athens, Mrs. Daisey Taylor, of 
Arnoldsville, Ga., Mrs. Lizzie McGee of Athens, Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland Elder of 
Winterville, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Elder, of Athens, Mr. Mark Elder of 
Athens, Mr. Luke Elder of Arnoldsville, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. Joe Maddox of Athens, 
Mrs. Amanda Young of Athens, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Davis of Athens, Mrs. Viola 
Benson, Cornelia, Ga., and Mrs. Maddie King.  The Rev. Johnnie Ray will 
officiate, the funeral cortage will leave our parlors at 2 o’clock p.m.  The 
pallbearers will please assemble at the funeral home, 354. W. Broad street at 
1:45 p.m.  Interment will be in the church yard.  W.P. Hopson Funeral Home in 
charge.
