He leaves a widow, three daughters and four sons to mourn for a good husband and father. Mr. Colquitt ever evinced keen interest in the affairs of the county and was quite active in church work, he being a member of Clouds Creek Baptist church. By his death his immediate Community loses a valuable resident and the county a good citizen. ( Compilers note ) John W. My father and his brothers and sisters considered Gussie their sister and was very much loved by them.
