Joseph Embrick, 22, died Wednesday, August 3, 2005.

Born in Clarke County, he was the son of Kathleen Embrick, Comer, and Charles 
Lee Embrick, Commerce. He was raised in Lexington, attended Oglethorpe County 
High School, and was employed with Lee Epting Catering. He put his heart into 
anything he did, according to loved ones.

Survivors in addition to his mother and father include two sisters, Elizabeth 
Windham, Comer, and Lura Embrick, N.C.; brothers, Richard Embrick, Athens, and 
Byron Embrick, Dallas, Tex.; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services were held Saturday, August 6, at the Church of Jesus Christ 
of Latter Day Saints.

Memorial contributions may be made to Vistacare Hospice, 767 Oglethorpe 
Avenue, Athens, Ga. 30606.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
