      Obituary for May Brown Houser                         
 
Obituary:   Arnoldsville, GA - May Brown Houser, 75, died Friday, April 10, 
2009 at her home in Arnoldsville.
Born in Blairsville, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and 
Bessie Owensby Brown and was preceded in death by a brother, Fred B. Brown and 
granddaughter, Sara Naomi Houser. May was retired from the University of 
Georgia.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Houser; daughter, Ann Houser; son, Bobby 
Houser, son, Bill Houser and his wife, Sandy, all of Arnoldsville; daughter, 
Debra Kriner and her husband, Joel of Kernersville, NC; siblings, Dollie 
Burrell, Graypelle Rollins and Jerry Brown, all of Blairsville and Joyce Brown 
of Naples, FL; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. 
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Lord and 
Stephens Chapel, EAST with Rev. David Arledge officiating. Burial will follow 
at Arnoldsville Cemetery. 
Pallbearers will be Randall Andrews, Bobby Arnold, Billy Sanders, Tommy 
Fleming, Bobby Seagraves and Doug Houser. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy 
Meyer and Gary Thomason.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6:00 until 
8:00 PM.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Arnoldsville Cemetery Perpetual 
Care Fund, c/o Grace Young, 205 Owensby Mill Road, Winterville, GA 30683.
