Funeral Notice (Colored)
   Lumpkin, Mr. Calvin – of Maxeys, Ga., departed this life March 21, 1950, at
the residence.  Surviving are seven children, Mr. and Mrs. Abe Cosby, Baltimore,
Md.; Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Brown, New York City; Mr. and Mrs. Otha Woods,
Watkinsville, Ga.; Mrs. Mattie Thomas, Athens, Ga.; Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Lumpkin,
Greenville, S.C.; Mr. Arthur Lumpkin, Baltimore, Md.; Mr. and Mrs. Jesse
Lumpkin, Athens, Ga.; nineteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a
host of other relatives and friends.  Funeral services will be held Sunday,
March 26, 1950, at 2:00 p.m. from the Bethel Baptist Church, Watkinsville, Ga.,
with the Rev. Mr. Allen, pastor, and other ministers officiating and interment
in Bethel cemetery.  Mack and Payne Funeral Home.
