The Union Recorder - August 17, 2007
  Hoyt Amos Martin, age 76, died Wednesday, August 15, 2007. Services will be 
at 4:30 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home. Burial will be in 
West View Cemetery.
  Mr. Martin was a native of Lexington, but made his home in Hardwick and 
worked at Central State Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, 
George and Essie Smith Martin; and a son, Anthony Martin. He was a member of 
Hardwick Baptist Church.
  Survivors include his wife, Ola Mae Martin of Hardwick; s son, Michael 
Martin of Hardwick; three daughters, Debra Kay Norman, Alice Shelton, and Ava 
Mazzola, all of Milledgeville; three sisters, Lucille Martin of McIntyre, 
Eunice Martin and Belle Crawford, both of Haddock; seven grandchildren; and 
six great grandchildren.
  The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday at the 
funeral home.
  Moores Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
