V.L. Pickelsimer

   Virgil Lee Pickelsimer, a resident of Oglethorpe County most of his life,
died Thursday in Cuthbert at the age of 92 after several months illness.
   Mr. Pickelsimer, a resident of Shellman the past two years, was a 
member of Arnoldsville Baptist Church.
  He is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Howard Hancock, Leebury, Mrs.
R.T. Hancock, Dawson, Mrs. Neola Burpee of Commerce, Mrs. William
Mapp of Athens, Mrs. C.D. Bradley of Beach Island, S.C., and Mrs.
Burley Lowe of Crawford; four sons, C.A. Pickelsimer of Shellman, Henry
Pickelsimer of Tennille, Howard Pickelsimer of Bartow, Fla, and Frank
Pickelsimer of Grove Town and two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Simmons of 
Cleveland and Miss Ida Fields of Gainesville.
    Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 at Arnoldsville
Baptist Church. Rev. Forrest Junkins, pastor of the church, officiating.
Burial will be in Arnoldsville Baptist Cemetery.
   Bernstein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
