Final Rites Today For L.S. Shelton
   Funeral services for Levi S. Shelton, 98 year old Athens citizen, who
died at his home on Poplar street yesterday afternoon were to be held
this afternoon at 4 o’clock from Bernstein’s chapel
   Mr. Shelton was a native of Habersham county, but had made his home in
Athens for the past 17 years.  He has been ill for some time.
   Interment was to be Arnoldsville cemetery.  Rev. Newton Saye officiated
at services.
   Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Leila Shelton; three daughters, Mrs. W.J.
Bellew, Mrs. A.F. Wooten, Mrs. J.W. Pollard; one son, R.A. Shelton,
forty grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
