Epps Bond Stokely, M. C. (Mrs.) MRS. M. C. STOKELY HAS PASSED AWAY Her Death Occurred Yesterday in Atlanta at Home of her Daughter. Yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L.M. Johnson, in Atlanta, occurred the death of Mrs. M. C. Stokely, at an advanced age. Mrs. Stokely was for a number of years a resident of Athens and had many warm friends here who will learn with profound regret of her death. She was a sister of Mr. Robert C. Latimer, of this city, and had many friends and relatives in Athens and the adjoining section. The remains of Mrs. Stokely will be carried to Crawford today for interment and the funeral will be held there this afternoon at one o’clock. Mrs. Stokely was a member of the Prebysterian church and a woman of the highest Christian character.
