Jane Beeler Teaster, 60, of Crawford, died Tuesday, July 26, 2005, at her 
residence after a long and courageous battle with cancer and Yo syndrome.

She was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. W.W. Beeler and was a native of 
Bristol, Tenn. She was a graduate of Bristol Tennessee High and was a member 
of Living Water Baptist Church in Arnoldsville. Friends and family knew her 
best as “Gertie”, according to loved ones.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Ray A. Teaster; four daughters and 
sons-in-law, Laurie and Greg Tolbert, Athens; Jan and Jeff Wiggins, Lilburn, 
Jo and Keith Holloman, Crawford, and Stacey and Kevin Gordon, Hull; nine 
grandchildren, Reid Foster, Jacob Holloman, Kyle Gordon, Morgan Holloman, 
Haley Gordon, Paige Wiggins, Heather Wiggins, Lawson Foster and Jeremiah 
Tolbert; a sister, Alice Miller, Beaufort, S.C.; and a brother, Bill Beeler, 
Knoxville, Tenn.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 29, in the chapel of Lord and Stephens 
Funeral Home, East.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, East, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
