Ruby L. Tolbert-Gunn, 90, of Stone Mountain, died Wednesday, August 30, 2006.

A native of Oglethorpe County, she had lived in North Carolina for over 20 
years before moving back to Winterville in 1962. She was the daughter of the 
late L.T. and Holly Fleeman Dover and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. 
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Olin Howard Tolbert and Lonnie 
Gunn; three brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Bob Richards, Monroe; 
three sisters, Mae Sue Moore, Winterville, Ruth Wood, Maxeys, and Doris Burt, 
Carlton; two grandchildren, Todd Richards, Loganville, and Leisa Richards, 
Suwanee; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, September 1, in the chapel of Lord & 
Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. David Burt officiating. Burial was in 
Athens Memory Gardens.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East, was in charge of arrangements.
