Beasley 26th Nov 1844 LDS Film # 1893074 Transcribed by E. Annette Hudson Rose Sept. 2003 Georgia, Oglethorpe County: I Elizabeth Beasley of said State and County, being of sound mind and memory doth make this my last Will and Testament in the following manner to wit: Item 1st It is my will and desire that my just debts be first paid. 2nd I give to my daughter Mary E. Bell all my negroes, viz.. Fanny, Alfred, Columbus, Perry & Indianah together with their increase if there should be any hereafter and my Barouche also, with this understanding that I am to remain with her and have support as long as I live or see cause to do so. 3rd The balance of my property such as household furniture, it is my wish should be equally divided between my duaghers Mary E. Bell & Almedia T. Greer provided the named daughter should survive me. If not, then her oldest daughter (Ophelia Greer) is to fall heir to it. I hereby nominate and appoint William Lumpkin & John A. Bell Executors to this my last will and testament hereby revoking all others. In witness where of I hereunto set my hand and seal this 26th Nov 1844. He was a son of Abraham Greer and Betsey Beasley. Elizabeth was 'most likely' a sister-in-law to Betsey. Mary E. Bell had married William Bell.
