Hill, Oglethorpe County, GA Will Book C (1826-1833), Pgs 27-28. Georgia } Livingston 17th December 1826 Oglethorpe County } I Walton P. Hill conscious of the uncertainty of life and desirous to Settle my Earthly affairs according to my wishes do set forth the following as my last will- First, I will and direct that all my just debts be paid. Secondly, I give and bequeath to my Sister Paulina and to my Brothers in law John Hardeman all my estate both real & personal in the manner following, to wit, To John Hardeman and Paulina Hardeman I give & bequeath all my property both real & personal but upon the death of either I will all of the above named property to the Survivor & his or her heirs for ever. I hereby appoint & constitute Burwell Pope my Executor of this my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I hereunto subscribe my hand & affix my Seal. Walter P. Hill (sig.)
