( page 11 ) State of Georgia Oglethorpe County Georgia In the name of God Amen Oglethorpe County ] I John Kidd of the County & State Aforesaid being of Sound mind & memory do make & Constitute this to be my last will & testament viz. Having heretofore given to my Sons George & Richard Kidd and to my Daughters Sarah Clements & Zelpha Colquitt & Mary Robertson a part of my property I do not at this time think Proper to Will them anymore myself but shall leave it with my Wife as she may think fit here after. I have also given to my Daughter Elizabeth Clements something but not so much as to The items of my children above named & therefore I now give To my wife whom I dearly love Two negroes ( as follows ) a Yellow boy about thirteen years of age named Green and a black girl About ten years of age named Ann for her to give to my said daughter Elizabeth Clements at any time she may choose to do so or to make Any other disposition of the said two negroes she may choose to do (that is she may not give them to her at all unless she chooses to do so. To my son James Kidd who is now living with me I give the tract of Land I purchased of Andrew Turner adjoining the tract I now live on and Adjoining William Smith & others containing one hundred & fifty acres More or less. Also a negro man named Caleb a negro boy called Glenn About seven years of age the above land and Two negroes my son James Is to take into his possession on the 21st day of December Eighteen hundred Thirty four. The balance of my property & estate both real & personal of all & every description I give entirely & in total to my dearly beloved wife forever to have & do as she pleases with . In witness whereof I have unto set my Hand & affixed my seal this 23rd day of Dec' in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred & Thirty Three.
