The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net *********************************************************************** >From Oglethorpe County, Georgia Will Book A (1794-1806), Pages 163-164 In the name of God amen__________ I Joseph Lumpkin of Oglethorpe County and State of Georgia being in perfect health do make and ordain this my last will & testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made bequeath my estate in manner and farm (illegible) following --------- (illegible) viz -Item, I leave unto my beloved wife Ann Lumpkin all my estate, be it of kindsoevers as long as she lives_____ Item, I give & bequeath unto my daughter Ann N. Bailey twenty five shillings sterling___ Item, I give & bequeath unto my Granddaughter Dolly Lumpkin two hundred dollars to be paid her by my executors when she marries or arrives to the age of Eighteen, to her & her heirs for ever, But if she should Die before she should marry or arive to the age afore said, then my desire is that her part should be equally divided between Joseph & William Lumpkin___ Item, I give and bequeath unto my son William Lumpkin one feather bed & furniture & the tract of land where on I now live containing one hundred & twenty four more or less__ Item, I give & bequeath unto my son Joseph Lumpkin two hundred dollars of my estate, after the death of his mother, then my desire is that after the death of my loving wife Ann Lumpkin; that my estate Be it of what kindsoevers should equally divided any son Joseph & William Lumpkin to them & their heirs for ever___ Lastly, I do appoint my loving wife & my son Joseph & William Lumpkin my executors to this my last will & testament in witness whereof I have herein set my hand & seal this twenty fifth day of March 180(?)
