Oglethorpe Counry / Nowel are held and firmly bound unto thier Honors the Justices of the Inferior Court for said county, sitting for ordinary purposes, and their successors in ofice, in the just and full sum of Eight thousand dollars, for the payment of which sum, to the said Justices and their successors, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, and administrators, in the whole and for the whole sum jointly and sverally, and firmly, by these presents, sealed with our seals, and dated this sixth day of November 1843. The Condition of the above obligation is such, That if the above bound William McKinley Administrator of the goods, chattels and credits of Beverly Nowel late of this county deceased, do make a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of said deceased, which have or shall come to the hands, possession or knowledge of the said William McKinly Admr or aforesaid - or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him and the same, so made, do exhibit in the said court of ordinary, when he shall be thereunto required: and such goods, chattels and credits, do well and truly administer according to law, and do make a just and true account of his actings and doings therein, when he shall be thereunto required by the court of ordinary for said county, and all the rest of the goods, chattels and credits, which shall be found remaining upon the account of the said administration the same being first allowed of by the court, shall deliver and pay to such person or persons, respectively, as are entitled to the same by law; and if it shall hereafter appear, that any last will and testament was made by the said deceased, and the same be proved before the court, and the executors obtain a certificate of the probate thereof, and the said William McKinly Admr as aforesaid do, in such case, if required, render and deliver up the said letters of administration, then this obligation to be void, else to remain in full force. These are to authorize and empower you, or any three of you, to make a just and true appraisement of the estate, real and personal, (ready money only excepted,) of Beverly Noell late of said County, deceased, in dollars and cents, as shall be produced or shown to you by William A. Noell (the A. Noell is lined through) McKinley for the Administrator of the estate of the said Beverly Noell decd; you, and each of you, first taking the oath required by law, before some Justice of the Peace for said County, and that you will return the same, certified under your hands, and also a certificate of your having taken the oath thereto annexed unto the said appointment within the time prescribed by law. Sealed with our seals, and dated this thirteenth day of January one thousand eight hundred and forty five. The Condition of the above obligation is such, That whereas the said Ava Noel was this day appointed Guardian to George W. Noel, Elizabeth Francis Noel, and Nancy Jane Noel, Orphans of Beverley Noel deceased - Now if the said Ava do wll and truly demean herself as Guardian aforesaid, agreeably to Letters of Guardianship bearing even date herewith, and agreeably to law, in such case made and provided, the above abligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue. Oglethorpe County / The petition of William McKinley Administrator upon the estate of Beverly Nowell deceased showeth that at the May Term of this Court in 1845 the said William McKinley petitioned this Court to be discharged from said Administration, and it appearing that the same was duly published in the Southern Recorder, and it appearing also that the estate of the said Beverly has been duly Administrated by the said William McKinly as Administrator of said estate and there having been no objection to this Court shown why the said William should not be dismissed - It is therefore Ordered by this Court - that the Clerk issue to the said William McKinley Administrator as aforesaid Letters Dismission from the said estate, and that he be discharged and Released from all his Liability as Administrator of said estate in Terms of the Law in such cases made and provided - A true extrat from the minutes of the Court of Ordinary held January Term 1846.
