Warrent of appr 1866 Inv. & appr. 1866 Div. of estate 1867 Removal of Guardianship 1869 State of Georgia / Oglethorpe County / Know all Men by these Presents, That we Newton Noell as principal and Upson C. Noell Thomas P. Tiller John W. Martin and John C. Tiller as securies are held and firmly bound and obligated unto the Honorable the Ordinary of said county, for the time being, and his successors in office, in the sum of one thousand Dollars, to be paid to the said Ordinary, his successors in office, or assigns: for which payment, well and truly to be made and done, we bind ourselves, jointly and severally, and each of our heirs, executors and administrators, firmly by these persents. Sealed with our seals, and dated at Lexington the fifth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty six. The Condition of the above Obligation is such, That if the above bound Newton Noell administrator of the goods, chattels and credits of Sophiah W. Nowell deceased, do make a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased, which have or shall come to the hands, possession or knowledge of the said Newton Noell administrator or in the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him and the same so made do exhibit in the Court of Ordinary of said county when he shall be therunto required, and such goods, chattels and credits, do well and truly administer accordin to law and make a just and true account of his actings and doings therein when required by the Superior Court or Ordinary for the said county, and all the rest of the goods, chattels and credits which shall be found remaining upon the account of the said administration, the same being first allowed by the said Court, shall deliver and pay to such person respectively as are entitled to the same by law. And if it shall hereafter appear that any last Will and Testament was made by the said deceased, and the same be proved before the Court, and the executors obtain a certificate of the probate therof, and the said Newton Noell do in such case, if required, render and deliver up the said letters of administration, then this obligation to be void, else to remain in full force. Tiller Newton Noell Upson C. Noell securties Are held and firmly bound and obligated unto the Ordinary of said County and his successors in office in the just an full sum of Five hundred Dollars for the true payment of shich sum to the said Ordinary, his successors in office and assigns, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, and administrators, in the whole, and for the whole sum, jointly and sverally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals, and dated at Lexington this fifth day of November 1866. The Condition of the above obligation is such that, whereas the said Thomas P. Tiller is this day appointed Guardian to James U. Newton J. Wm E. Charles L and Thomas H Tiller minors. Now if the said Thomas P. Tiller do well and truly demean himself as Guardian aforesaid, agreeably to Letters of Guardianship, bearing even date herewith and agreeable to law in such case, made and provived, the above obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
