Record of Wills November Term 1855 Georgia } Oglethorpe County } This the Last Will and testament of Mrs. Olive Pope of said County. First I Resign my body to the earth from which it came and my soul to God who gave it. 2nd I wish all my just debts be paid. 3rd I give and bequeath to my nephew Doctor Jonathan Watkins my negro Woman Hannah and her boy child Booker, together with any kitchen furniture of every kind, and the provisions with the present growing crop of corn, cotton &c. 4th I give and bequeath to the children of my son in Law, Thomas Elkins of the state of Alabama, all my Household furniture of every kind, Beds, Bedsteads, and bed clothing with my wearing clothes, chairs, tables &c, all the furniture pertaining to my dwelling house. 5th I hereby nominate and appoint my friend D. W. Patman (? Could be Pitman) executor to this my last Will and testament this the twenty ninth day of June in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and fifty five.
