Tiller 1892 Oglethorpe Co., GA W. W. Tiller adm. of Jas S Tiller filed in office May 2nd 1892 J. J. Bacon Ordinary Oath by W. W. Tiller 2nd day of May 1892 J. J. Bacon Ordinary Administrator Bond in Book "A" of Adms. Bonds. page 52 J.J. Bacon Ordinary Bond is for W. W. Tiller and W. B. Hopper for James S. Tiller late of the State of Texas. Petition dated 1st day of February 1892 says J. S. Tiller was more than 21 years of age. W. L. Brown Petitioner's Attorney Letter of guardianship in Feb Term 1873 were granted by the court to James M. Smith for James S. Tiller then a minor. W. W. Tiller respectfully shows that he is a brother and next of kin to F. M. Tiller & J. S. Tiller that said J. S. and F. M. Tiller have not been heard of for more than seven years and that the ordinary of said county did after due advertisement & adjudge said F. M. Tiller and J. S Tiller to be dead by virtue of law. Jun 1st 1892. (Judging F. M. Tiller to be dead was a little premature - WDT). Dallas County Texas. Perry Williams and Mrs. Sarah Milligan swore acquaintance with F. M. Tiller, resident of Dallas County, for 10 years and that James S. Tiller, a brother of F.M.Tiller died 12 day of Nov. 1883 at the home of F. M. Tiller. That both claimed to have come to Texas from GA. Dated 10th March 1892. "Personally appeared F. M. Tiller after duly sworn deposes and says that his name is Francis Marion Tiller that he is the son of Sanford Tiller, who died in Oglethorpe County and Martha Tiller his wife, that he is the brother of W W Tiller, James S. Tiller, deceased, Berry Randall Tiller, Barbara S. Tiller, Ella Tiller and Almeta Francis Tiller, deceased, that he is the grandson of Randall Tiller, deceased, that he left the State of GA on Nov 1877 and came from there to Texas where he now resides. That James S. Tiller was living with him at the time of his death, and that his death occurred on the 12 day of Nov 1883, that the said James S. Tiller was never married and died intestate leaving as his only heirs his brothers and sisters above named. F. M. Tiller. Subscrided and sworn to befor me this the 10th day of Mar 1892. A. J. Hudson Notary Public" Death on 12 Nov 1883 also sworn to by J. R. Meeds, M.D. who was the family physician and was paid $25.00 for attending James S. Tiller.
