Wills: Sanders Walker, 11 Oct 1805: Oglethorpe County, Georgia Contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by Laura Stotler Lstotler@aol.com Last Will and Testament of Sanders Walker, Will Book A (1794-1806), Oglethorpe Co, GA Georgia } In the name of God amen--- Oglethorpe County } I Sanders Walker of the County & state Aforesaid being in perfect mind & Memory do make & ordain this my last will & Testament-- Item, I sign my body to the Dusts from which it was taken, in belief that I shall (can't read word) it again at the resurrection of the just, & trust my soul on the merits attonements & righteousness of my dear redeemer and as for worldly Goods the lord has Graciously Bestowed on me, I give & bequeath in the following manner.----to wit: Item, I give & bequeath to my Eldest son Simon Walker all the property, with the increase thereof which he has allready received, which I suppose to be worth $3,000 with one dollar to be paid him by my exs in twelve months after my death to him & his heirs for ever--- Item, I give & bequeath to my Daughter Nancy Smith the property that she & Mr. Smith has all ready received, which I suppose to be worth $2,000 & one hundred Dollars to be paid to her twelve Months after my decease, to her & her heirs for ever- Item, I lend to my wife Sarah Walker during her life the north end of the tract of land I now live on, including the houses & part of the plantation Viz. Running a line across the spring we now use an East & west Course across the land; also Harry a negro man, & Peter a Mulatto man; July a negro man & Jude his wife during her life; I also Lend her for her use & disposal my stocks of Every kind, & household & kitchen Furniture of Every Kind; also my still, also all notes assume (?) & that is justly due me, I also Give & bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah Walker my negro wo man Molly, to her own proper use & disposal Item; I give & bequeath to my Youngest son Jeremiah (?) Walker all the property with the increase thereof That he has already received, & the part of the tract of land I now live on, which I have not Cut to my wife, & at her death the whole tract, and plantation containing a tract three hundred & fifty acres, also at the death of my said wife the Mulatto man Peter, the negro man July & Jude his wife, also one Desk and walnut table to him & his heirs for ever- Item; I give & bequeath to my Daughter Sally Stalling the property She & Mr. Stallings already received & at the death of my wife; one third part of the Farm -ing Estate which is not already Disposed of- Item; I give & bequeath to my daughter Patsy Stokes the property she & Mr. Stokes has already Received, & at the death of my wife Sarah Walker one third part of the remaining Estate, which is not otherways disposed of- Item, I give & bequeath to my daughter Betsy Lumpkin the property she & Mr. Lumpkin has already received, & at the Death of my said wife one third part of the Estate which is not otherways Disposed of__ I do hereby constitute & appoint my beloved wife Sarah Walker; Wilson Lumpkin and Young Stokes my Executrice & Executors of this my last will & testament.
