I James Young Senior of the County & State aforesaid being of sound mind and desposing memory but knowing the life of man is short Do make this my last will and testament In the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & twenty seven and tenth day of October. Item 1. I give to my son Moses Young one Dollar Item 2. I give to my Son James Young one Dollar Item 3. I give to my Son Henry Young my house and land whereon I now live with all the appurtenances thereof also one Negro boy Dick also one ______? man also my bed and furniture. Item 4th I leave my Negro woman ________? to be sold also my ______? horse three years old also my household and kitchen furniture stock of every kind not _______? before specifically named & all other property not before specially named to be sold and after paying all lawful debts the balance to be equally divided between my following children & grandchildren to wit, Thomas Young, Wootson Young, Elizabeth Landrum, Dorcas Hughey and the children of my daughter Anna Landrum who ___________? which would have been their mother's equal portion had she lived. Item 5th I give to my son-in-law James Lanier in _______? of his wife Susannah Lanier, my daughter now deceased one Dollar & no more.
