Mr. Bone was born April 19, 1948 in villa Rica, Georgia, son of Ottis and June (Austin) Bone, Sr. He was a member of the Methodist Faith and was employed as a carpenter. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. June Austin Bone of Dallas; two brothers, Mr Ottis Bone, Jr. of Dallas and Mr. and Mrs. James (Betty) Palmer of Powder Springs; special aunt, Mrs. Evelyn Bone Austin of Dallas; nieces and nephews, Ryan Palmer, Amy Palmer, Shana Carroll, Anslee Palmer, and Tyler Palmer, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Mr. Ottis Bone, Sr. Funeral Services were conducted in Benson Funeral home Chapel on Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Thomas Cole Officiating. Music was rendered by Mr. Tony Harris. Interment followed in Mt. Nebo Methodist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers, Ryan Palmer, Ottis Bone, Jr., Lee Gibson, Charles Cooper, John Vaughan, Bruce Fennell, and Larry Leggett.
