Mrs. Chupp was born on October 28, 1936 in Paulding County, daughter of the late Estelle Hollis Winters and the late Paul Winters. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and retired in 1988 from Goodyear Mill with 24 years service. Mrs. Chupp was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Jacob “J. L.” Chupp in January 1, 2001. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Shelia and Clyde Argo of Aragon and Regina and Everett Sutton of Euharlee; a son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Vickie Chupp of Rockmart; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Holder of Rockmart, Mrs. Paulette Singleton of Carrollton and Mrs. Pat Elliott of Temple; two brothers, Mr. J.T. Winters of Dallas and Mr. Larry Winters of Temple; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held Monday, August 9th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Hoyt Lewis, Dr. Tony Weaver and Rev. Charles Sutton officiating. Interment followed in the family lot of Polk Memory Gardens. Pallbearers include Jeff Singleton, Chad Singleton, Donnie Holder, Steve Holder, Otis Chupp and Jeff Chupp. Honorary pallbearers were Cody Sutton, Tony Argo and Brent Argo.
