Mr. Madison Bell Dodd, age 78 of Marietta, died August 7, 2004 at Marietta 
Health Care Rehabilitation.

Mr. Dodd was the son of the late Alvia E. and Jimmie Pratt Dodd. He retired 
from the ground maintenance department of Town and Country Shopping Center. He 
was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Geneva Smith Dodd of Marietta; sons, Jack and Reta 
Dodd of Lithia Springs, David Dodd of Marietta and Robert Dodd of 
Douglasville; daughters, Pat and Harold May of Jonesboro and Louise and Benny 
Bennett of Marietta; brother, James Dodd of Alabama and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Monday, August 9, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. from Couch-
Garner & Cole Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roger Fowler officiating.

Interment followed in Mt. Harmony Church Cemetery in Mableton.

Couch-Garner & Cole Funeral Home served the Dodd family.
