Mrs. Floy T. Forsyth Passes June 9

Mrs. Floy T. Forsyth, age 72, of Braswell Mtn. Road, Rockmart, passed away 
Thursday, June 9, 2005.

Mrs. Forsyth was born August 29, 1932, in Paulding County, Georgia, daughter 
of the late Homer & Ella Ratteree Hayes. She was a member of Friendship 
Baptist Church, a homemaker, and an Avon Representative for many years.

She is survived by her husband, who she married August 13, 1949, Ernest 
Forsyth of Rockmart; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Brenda Forsyth of 
Cedartown and Mark and Tina Forsyth, both of Rockmart; daughter and son-in-
law, Lillie and Joe Morris of Cedartown; brother, Tommy Hayes of Rockmart; six 
grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held Saturday, June 11, 2005 at 3:00 PM in Friendship 
Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Walraven and Rev. Henry Walraven officiating. A 
poem was read by grandson, Mr. Danny Forsyth.

Interment followed in the family lot of Friendship Cemetery.

Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
