Services Held for Mr. Donald Freeman, Sr.

Mr. Donald Freeman, Sr., age 68, of Hiram, Georgia, passed away June 9, 2005 
at his residence.

Mr. Freeman was born October 20, 1936 in Bishopville, South Carolina, son of 
Edna Ragan Freeman and the late Pat Freeman. He was employed as an auto 
mechanic and a member of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are his sons, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Freeman, Jr. of Dallas, Shane 
Freeman of Hiram and Steven Freeman of Griffin; daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Janice 
Downs of Douglasville, Mr. and Mrs. Cathy Higgembothem of Winston and Kimberly 
Freeman of Patterson, NJ; mother, Edna Freeman of Hiram; brothers, Richard and 
Betty Freeman, Ronald Freeman and Lawrence Freeman, and Clyde and Rebecca 
Freeman, all of Hiram and David and Pam Freeman of Dallas; sisters, Joyce and 
Dave Byers, Diane and Melvin Pirkle, and Linda and Gary Wood, all of Hiram; 19 
grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Pat Freeman; brothers, Gerald 
Freeman, Julian Freeman, and Harold Freeman and sister, Ellen Smith.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, June 11, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the 
Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Wellham and Rev. Craig 
Dallas officiating. Special music was rendered by Lisa Honea, Jessica Cox and 
Jeanette Barnett.

Interment followed in Melrose Hills Memorial Park in Villa Rica. Pallbearers 
were Donnie Diehl, Robby Kelley, Santos Roque, Gary Freeman, Wes Honea, Tommy 
Estes, Rickey Fuller, and Mark Fuller.
