The Paulding New Era, May 15, 1884
The funeral of Mr. Charles Furr, late deceased, will be preached the first 
Sunday in June at Friendship church, this county, where his remains now lie.  
We mourn the loss of a good man.  While it is our loss, we hope it is his 
gain.  Charley left good evidence that when he was taken away, his spirit 
would take its flight to God who gave it. –B.Flay (Dots from Oval)
