Gore, Sam 

4 June 1893 (The Daily Constitution - Atlanta} Murder in Paulding. A brutal 
murder was committed near Yorktown, in Paulding county, during a drunken 
carousal, in which Sam Gore, Dave Wood and Frank Pace were participants. Gore 
was set upon by the other two, while he was too drunk to defend himself, and 
was brutally murdered. Pace and Wood were apprehended and brought to jail at 
Dallas, where they are now held upon the charge of murder, to await a 
preliminary trial at 8 a.m. tomorrow.
