Mrs. Ella Hunt, wife of Mr. Henry Hunt, departed this life Wednesday morning at 4 o’clock, January 7th, 1885. She was well until about one hour before her death. The cause of her death was heart disease. She was highly respected and early beloved by her church and all who knew her, for her noble qualities and Christian virtues secured her many friends who now mourn her absence. She joined the Missionary Baptist church at Powder Springs about seven years ago. She was twenty-nine years of age when she died. She was married to Mr. Henry Hunt about one year ago. Those who knew her never heard her speak ill of any person. She seemed to love everybody, and was so good that the Lord had need for her. She was naturally timid in disposition and was surely loved by all people. A Friend, Hiram, Ga., Jan 12, ’85.
