The Dallas New Era, Dallas, Georgia, Thursday, June 24, 2004
Mrs. Minnie C. Keown, age 71 of Dallas, Georgia, passed away June 7, 2004 at 
Emory Healthcare Hospital.

Mrs. Keown was born January 19, 1933 in Paulding County, Georgia, daughter of 
the late Ernest A. and Effie Hulsey Wisener. She was a homemaker and a member 
of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Mr. S.J. Keown of Dallas, 
daughter, Cathy Caudell and her friend Juergen West of Woodstock; son, Mr. and 
Mrs. Gary (Mary Ann) Chapman of Temple; step-son, Mr. and Mrs. Sam (Rae) Keown 
of Marietta; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ernest and Effie Wisener, she was preceded in 
death by her brother, Fred Wisener and grandson, Little Eric K. Chapman, who 
passed away September 7, 1994.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with 
Rev. Thomas Garner officiating. Special music was rendered by Tony Harris.

Interment followed in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with the following 
gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Eric Chapman, Gary Chapman, Robert Wisener, 
Sam Keown, Juergen West, and Leroy Baxter.

Benson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
