CHARLES ARTHUR KINSEY OF HIRAM, GEORGIA, PASSES AWAY FEBRUARY 15, 1985. Mr. Charles Arthur Kinsey, age 80, passed away on February 15, 1985. He died at the local hospital after being in a state of ill health for a period of about 1 year prior to his death. Mr. Kinsey was born on April 19, 1904, in Walker County, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by: 1) his wife, the late Ethel Nina (Crabb) Kinsey; and 2) his daughter, Barbara (Kinsey) Maxwell, who passed away on January 31, 1979. He was the son of the late William Robert Kinsey and the late Katie (Gillespie) Kinsey. Mr. Kinsey lived at Route 1, Nebo Road, Hiram, Paulding County, Georgia, prior to his death. He is survived by: 1) his son, Mr. James Kinsey of Powder Springs, Georgia; 2) his son, Mr. Winfred Kinsey, also of Powder Springs; 3) his son, Mr. Marvin Kinsey, also of Powder Springs, 4) his son, Mr. Leonard Kinsey of Dallas, Georgia; 5) his son, Mr. Jimmy Kinsey of Lithia Springs, Georgia; 6) his dauther, Mrs. Ruth Pelfrey, wife of Mr. Morris Pelfrey, of Adairsville, Georgia; 7) his dauther, Mrs. Lois Johnson, wife of Mr. Carlton Johson, of Hiram, Georgia; 8) his daughter, Mrs. Nina Hurst, wife of Mr. Ernest Hurst also of Hiram; 9) his dauther, Mrs. Judy Chambers, wife of Earl Chambers also of Hiram; 10) his dauther, Ms. Carolyn Pope, of Hiram also; 11) his sister, Mrs. Eula Williams of Rossville, Georgia; 12) his brother, Rev. Willie Kinsey, also of Rossville; 13) his brother, Mr. Claude Kinsey of Counce, Tennessee; 13) his brother, Mr. H. M. Kinsey of Powder Springs; 14) his brother, Rev. Carl Kinsey of Trion, Georgia; and 15)his sister-in-law, Mrs. Avola Kinsey of Flintstone, Georgia. The deceased is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and several nieces and newphews. Funeral services were held for the deceased on Sunday, February 17, 1985, at 2:00 o'clock p.m. at the Cochran Ridge Baptist Church. The Reverand Glenn Townsend, Reverand Darrell Carter, Reverand Franklin Rodgers, and Reverand Sam Shipp all officiating at his services. The pallbearers for the deceased were: Jeff M. Kinsey, Mike Kinsey, Jeff S. Kinsey, Bobby Kinsey, Stanley Pelfrey, Eddie Silvey, Larry Johnson, and David Hurst. Burial was at the Cochran Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. In charge of the arrangements was the Eberhart Funeral Home. Additional Comments: The late wife of the deceased, the said Mrs. Ethel Nina (Crabb) Kinsey was the daughter of the late William Burton "Toby" Crabb and the late Sarah Josephine "Josie" (Black) Crabb, both of Polk County, Georgia.
