It is my painful duty to announce the death of Uncle Seaborn S. McGarrity, who died at his residence Tuesday night the 15th. Almost the entire community attended his burial at Pleasant Grove church today. Very great sympathy was manifested by all present. Deceased was among the oldest settlers in this part of the county. He was noted for his ___ industry and for the special care and attention which he bestowed upon his family. He commenced life poor, but had accumulated some means, besides giving all his children a moderate education. Two of his sons are ministers of the Protestant Methodist church and live in middle Georgia. One in Texas. They were telegraphed for, but only one has arrived.
