Mr. Andrew “Curtis” McMichen Passes

Mr. Andrew “Curtis” McMichen, age 75, passed away Friday, March 25, 2005 at 
Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, Georgia.

Mr. McMichen was born May 16, 1929 in Paulding County, Georgia, son of the 
late Wiley McMichen and the late Omie Alexander McMichen.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mrs. Inez Fennell McMichen of Hiram; 
sons, Mr. and Mrs. Terry (April) McMichen of Rockmart, Mr. and Mrs. Steve 
(Wanda) McMichen of Rockmart, and Mr. and Mrs. Darrell (Patricia) McMichen of 
Hiram; daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy (Sheila) Purcell of Taylorsville and Mr. 
and Mrs. Dennis (Melissa) Phelps of Paulding County; sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Bud 
(Lil) Halcombe and Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey (Lorraine) Hoard, both of Monroe 
County, GA; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and 
nephews.

Funeral Services were conducted on Monday, March 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from 
the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Bro. Melvin Kopp officiating.

Interment followed in Sweetwater Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were 
Dennis Phelps, Greg West, Ian Hansman, Ryan Hurst, Rodney Purcell, Dean 
Clackum. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Purcell, Gerald McMichen, Ronny 
McMichen and Rodney McMichen.
