Brown Mills, 87, of Rockmart, Georgia passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2005 at WellStar Paulding Hospital after an extended illness. She was born January 4, 1918 in Paulding County the daughter of the late Henry E. Wilson and the late Lillie Watson Elliott Wilson. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and was a retired accounting clerk. She was affectionately known to her friends and family as “Mama Brown” and will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two husbands, Silas Maxwell Brown and Richard M. Mills. She is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Nell and Howard Skinner and Ellanor and Larry Skinner, all of Rockmart; one son, Ralph M. Brown of Hiram; one cousin; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were conducted on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Roy Davis Funeral Home with Reverend Ken Hennesy officiating. Interment followed in Rosehill Cemetery. Roy Davis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
