The Dallas New Era, Dallas, Georgia, Thursday, August 5, 2004
Mrs. Maryland Moody, age 61 of Hiram, Georgia, passed away July 27, 2004. She 
was born August 26, 1942 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of Clifford Tucker 
and Prutie Maddox Tucker. She was of the Baptist faith and a met cutter at 
Kroger.

Survivors include two sons, Ray and Angela Traylor of Acworth and Thomas Heath 
Traylor of Atlanta; one daughter, Nancy Lorne (Lori) and Marty Brookshire of 
Emerson, Georgia; 4 grandchildren; step-brothers Charlie and Betty Newborn, 
and David Newborn, all of Douglasville.

She was preceded in death by husband, Ray Washington Traylor; husband Alfred 
(Teet) Davis and daughter Amy Frances Traylor. 

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2004 in the chapel 
of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Reverend Ernest Charles Newborn 
officiating. Music was provided by Jeff Eberhart and Becky Bearden.

Interment followed in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. The body was 
cremated.

Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
