The Dallas New Era, Dallas, Georgia, Thursday, November 4, 2004
Mr. Ben Eugene "Cotton" Mulkey, age 68 of Dallas, Georgia passed away October 
30, 2004 at WellStar Paulding Nursing Unit.

Mr. Mulkey was born March 18, 1936 in Murray County, Georgia, son of the late 
Will and Omy Mulkey. He was a member of the Baptist faith and worked as a 
concrete finisher.

Survivors icnlude his wife of 48 years, Mrs. Charlotte C. Mulkey, to whom he 
was married on March 9, 1956; five daughters, Scott and Vickie Steele of 
Aragon, Danny and Marion Freeman of Dallas, Daniel and Pamela King of 
Cedartown, Jackie and Nancy Ray of Dallas, and Derek and Rachelo Michael of 
Dallas; two sons, Timmey and Kim Mulkey of Calhoun and Keith Mulkey of Dallas 
and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with 
Rev. Bill Patrick and Rev. Ernest Channell officiatsing. Special musical 
selections were played.

Interment followed in Yorkville Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were Max 
Thyurmond, Grover Channell, Mike Mulkey, Johnny Mulkey, Richard Townsend, 
David Stoker, Donald Hite, and Bud Mulkey.

Benson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
