The Dallas New Era, Dallas, Georgia, Thursday, June 24, 2004
Mr. Avery L. Mundy, age 46 of Dallas, Georgia passed away on June 14, 2004. He 
was born on November 11, 1957 in Bartow County, Georgia the son of Cecil Mundy 
and Cennis Garrett Mundy. He was employed by the maintenance department for 
the City of Douglasville. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Wanda Glines Mundy; his son and 
fiancé, Daniel Mundy and Elecia Seefeldt of Dallas; daughter, Amanda Mundy of 
Dallas; mother Cennia Prater of Dallas; sisters, Carolyn Cole of Dallas and 
Loris West of Hiram; step-sisters, Janet Osmer and Janice Thornton, both of 
Dallas and Tracy Mundy of Acworth, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Mundy; sisters, Lucinda 
Willingham and Katherine Stoker.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 in the chapel 
of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Bishop Keith Graham officiating. Music was 
provided by Olin and Helen Walker.

Interment followed at Paulding Memorial Gardens with Joe Pickett, Johnny 
Cochran, Steven Jarred, Bobby Willingham, Joey Willingham and Tony West 
serving as pallbearers.

Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
