Wendy was born March 5, 1973 in Austell, Georgia. She was a member of Douglasville Baptist Church and worked in the Human Resources Department at Fast Forms Packaging Company. She is survived by her daughter, Amber Ann Griggs of Dallas; son, Jacob Steven Griggs of Dallas; mother and step-father, Pat and Bruce Wiley of Douglasville; father, Randy Parson of Douglasville; sisters, Tammy Lynn Stigall and Angela Diane Parson, both of Douglasville; step-sisters, Rachael Douglas of Kennesaw and Amanda Trieger of Canton; step-brother, Philip Wiley of Douglasville; paternal grandparents, Odes and Burtlee Parson of Douglasville; fiancé David Jetton and his daughter, Ashley Jetton, both of Dallas; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, July 22, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Johnson and Rev. Chuck Daniel officiating. Interment followed in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: David Jetton, Steven Griggs, Randy Parson, Bruce Wiley, Billy Stigall and Jim Devin.
