O.J. Withrow officiating. Interment was in the city cemetery. Mrs. Welch was forty-four years of age and died on Wednesday afternoon after a long illness. She was Miss Mamie Cooper and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Cooper, and was born and reared in Dallas, where she has lived all her life. She was a devout member of the Methodist Church and was prominent in church work. She is survived by her husband and two sons, Cooper Welch, of Atlanta, and Harold Welch, of Dallas, and two sisters, Mrs. R.L. Rawls, of Atlanta, and Mrs. W.L. Russum, of Dallas.
